Hotels are mushrooming across the country and Kerala is no different. Kochi infact is seeing emergence of 1000 plus rooms in the luxury segment. There is a brand war happening with all the old timers like Taj Kochi, Trident Kochi, Casino Kochi, Le Meridien Kochi in place new players like the Dream Kochi, Ramada Kochi, Holiday Inn Kochi and Beaumonde The Fern Kochi have been trying to make their presence felt and trying to lay a strong foundation. More branded hotels are under various stages of construction. Some of them have announced the names and some are yet to let out the secret. Following hotels are the known hotels lined up for launch over the next few months and until the end of 2013.

All eyes are on the big pie of Inbound tourists and MICE market that comes into Kerala. Not to forget the growing numbers of domestic tourists taking the Kerala Tour Packages and the growth of Medical Tourism in view of the super speciality hospitals in Kochi and the international connectivity.
