Karnataka International Travel Expo (KITE) 2019
The long awaited flagship event of Karnataka Tourism ,Karnataka International Tarvel Expo (KITE) 2019 finally got off to a brilliant start. On 25th of August 2019 all registered buyers arrived in Bengaluru as per schedule directly or from their pre mart tours to wonderful relaxing day at Bengaluru. KITE was spread over 3 days from 25-28th August with a day dedicated for arrival. After checking at the respective hotels, everyone gathered at the Venue Hotel – The Lalit Ashok for a crisp evening.
For the first time it was a to the point and precise opening with the presentation lasting less than a hour. It was devoid oftalks by the VIP’s and a chirpy – eloquent MC ensured that everything went smooth. The Tourism Secretary T K Anil Kumar made an impactful introduction and showcased Karnataka in wonderful way. This was followed by a brief insight by Deputy Director General Mr.Shreevats Sanjay. Finally a first of its kind event with “dos and dont’s” was presented by the KITE Chairman Ayappa Somaiah.

The following two days was dedicated for networking between 400 buyers form India & abroad and 100 sellers from across Karnataka. As it was a restricted event vis-a-vis nos, it turnedout to be a quality interactive business meet spread over two days. Even though it was organized for the first time it , this fact was hardly visible as the hospitality was at its best. The best of hotels were chosen for stay, transporation was available all around, the food was wonderful and the spectacular teamwork was visible.
The sellers, buyers and media had only positives to speak about Karnataka International Travel Expo 2019. End of the day it was a successful KITE 2019 thanks to the amazing Public Private Partnership and a fantabulous teamwork.
