Once you have decided to tip the next question which hits you is how much should i tip?
Simple benchmark that you can follow is listed below
- DO NOT TIP if the service was not good.
- 5% for limited service joints/ door delivery etc
- 5% if the service was OK.
- 10% if the service was GOOD.
- 15% if the service was EXCELLENT.
- Anything above for exceptional service and it will be purely a personal call.
Tips are much appreciated if its in CASH regardless of the amount, so even if you are paying by card try to pay the tip in cash.
