Kerala Tour Package 8 Nights 9 Days

DAY 01 KOCHI AIRPORT – ATHIRAPPILLY / 80 KMS – 2.5HRS:
TRANSFER & ½ DAY SIGHTSEEING OF ATHIRAPPILLY
Arrive and transfer to Athirappilly. Athirappilly Falls is located on the west-flowing Chalakudy River. Athirappilly waterfalls is a 80 ft waterfall and the nearby Vazhachal Falls are popular tourist destinations. Check in and go for a trek by the falls. Return and over night stay.

OPTIONAL :- If time permits explore the Silver Storm Water Theme Park & Snow Park/ Take a dip in the river at a safe location.

DAY 02 ATHIRAPPILY – MUNNAR / 200 KMS – 5 HRS:
TRANSFER & ½ DAY SIGHTSEEING OF MUNNAR
After breakfast transfer to hotel in Munnar. Later visit visit Eravikulam National Park (Closed from February to April) & Tea Museum (Closed on Monday). If time permits visit proceed to stroll by the tea gardens in the evening and enjoy the sunset from the nearby sunset point. Return to hotel and overnight stay.

OPTIONAL :- If time permits explore the Ayurveda massage/ Adventure park.

DAY 03 MUNNAR:
FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING OF MUNNAR
Post breakfast proceed for a full day tour covering Kundala Dam, Mattupetty Dam, Cowboy Park, Photo Point, Beehive Tree, Echo point, Flower nursery, Blossom Park and the local market. Return to hotel and overnight stay.

OPTIONAL :- If time permits go for a Jeep Safari/ Chocolate factory visit.

DAY 04 MUNNAR – THEKKADY/ 115KMS – 3.5 HRS:
TRANSFER & ½ DAY SIGHTSEEING OF THEKKADY
Post breakfast check out & drive to Thekkady. Enroute do the spice plantation tour. On arrival check in to resort and proceed for Lake Cruise inside the Periyar Tiger Reserve. In the evening witness the Kerala Martial Art Show KalariPayattu.Return to hotel and overnight stay.

OPTIONAL :- If time permits buy the Kerala Spices – this is best place to buy.

DAY 05 THEKKADY – ALAPPUZHA/ 180 KMS – 5 HRS:
HOUSEBOAT EXPERIENCE IN ALAPPUZHA
Post an early breakfast check out & drive to Alappuzha. Arrive at the houseboat by lunch time, check in and proceed for a sightseeing cruise along the backwaters with lunch and snacks until sundown. You get to see the village life by the backwaters. Dinner is served early on the houseboat, relax, unwind and retire after dinner.

OPTIONAL :- If you wish you could buy fresh fish/ toddy as you may opt for.

DAY 06 ALAPPUZHA – KOLLAM/ 100 KMS – 2.5 HRS:
TRANSFER TO KOLLAM & ½ DAY SIGHTSEEING OF KOLLAM
Wake up early to see the beauty of the backwaters and enjoy an hour long cruise with breakfast before you deboard at 0900 hrs. Check out. Proceed to Kollam. Visit Chadayamangalam to witness the largest functional bird sculpture in the world –Jatayu Earth’s Centre. Proceed to check in to hotel. . Rest of the time leisure at the hotel

OPTIONAL :- If you wish you continue your stay at Jatayu to witness the sunset as it has an amazing 360 degree view point.

DAY 07 KOLLAM– KOVALAM/ 75 KMS -2.5 HRS:
½ DAY SIGHTSEEING OF TRIVANDRUM & TRANSFER TO KOVALAM
Wake up early to see the beauty of the backwaters and enjoy an hour long cruise with breakfast before you deboard at 0900 hrs. Check out. Proceed to Kovalam. Proceed to check in to resort. Rest of the time leisure at resort / beach.

OPTIONAL :- Visit the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple (Dress Code – Dhoti for men and Sarees for women, closed from 1200 to 1630 hrs.).

DAY 08 KOVALAM – KANYAKUMARI – KOVALAM/ 100 KMS -2.5 HRS ONE WAY :
DAY EXCURSION TO KANYAKUMARI
After breakfast drive to Kanyakumari. Enroute visit Padmanabhapuram Palace (Closed on Monday), & Suchindram Temple. Late afternoon Thiruvalluvar Statue & Vivekananda Rock Memorial visit , Bharat Mata Temple and Kumari Amman Temple. Return to hotel and overnight stay.

OPTIONAL :- You have the option of staying at Kanyakumari if you wish to which gives you the opportunity to see the sunrise and sunset. This is possible if you have an evening return the next day.

DAY 09 KOVALAM -THIRUVANANTHAPURAM/ 30 KMS -01 HRS:
DEPARTURE TRANSFER
After breakfast check out & drive to Trivandrum. Enroute do Trivandrum city tour. Visit Chitra Art Gallery (Closed on Monday), Napier Museum (Closed on Monday). Proceed to Trivandrum Airport / Railway station for onward journey.

OPTIONAL :- Go shopping in Trivandrum.
